Insurance is essential whenever you venture away from your home port. We can arrange insurance on an individual basis or as a business policy for corporate use. You will be covered in full for medical, emergency expenses, cancellation fees, luggage and personal liability.
Like any form of insurance, travel insurance is a "necessary evil". "Necessary" because of the unexpected situations that we find ourselves in whilst travelling and "Evil" because it is an expense that we take on, but hope that we do not have to use it. However, Travelscene Insurance gives you the peace of mind that will ensure that any unexpected situations are handled with a minimum of inconvenience to you, whether it be a claim whilst you are away, or settling an expense after you have returned
TRAVELLERS CHEQUES AND FOREIGN CURRENCY
You should always take more funds than you require because inevitably you will purchase something that will go over your budget. You should always take a balance of funds when travelling. I suggest that you take no more than $500.00 in Australian dollars cash plus $300.00 in local currency plus an international credit card plus, your ATM card plus the balance in Travellers cheques. The reason for this is, if you loose everything, it may be one of the quickest ways of replacing lost funds. Traveller's cheques are easily and quickly replaced. If you loose your cash, kiss it goodbye. TravelsceneTaigum can organise your traveller's cheques and foreign currency for you. You should always keep a record of cheque numbers separately. In the event of loss, this will expedite replacement. Passports are generally required when cashing these cheques.
